Privacy Policy

Giga helps creators and businesses publish edited versions of their own Instagram reels as trial reels. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Your account email, used to sign you in.
- When you connect an Instagram professional account: your Instagram user ID, username, name, profile picture, follower count, and an access token granted with the permissions you approve.
- Your own reels and their insights (views, reach, watch time, likes, comments, saves and shares), retrieved through the Instagram API.
- Edited video variants we create from your reels, and the captions and schedule for them.
How we use it
- To rank your reels, create variants, and publish them to your account as trial reels on your schedule.
- To show you performance and identify winning variants.
- Reel frames, captions and transcripts are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write on-screen hooks and caption openers. They are not used to train models.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Storage and retention
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase). Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Rendered variants are deleted about 7 days after they publish, except winners you may want to repost.
Deleting your data
Disconnecting an account in Giga deletes everything we store for it. You can also remove Giga from your Instagram settings (Settings → Apps and websites); Instagram will notify us and we will delete your data. See data deletion.
